Objective

The objective of the project was to further develop Udtaleværkstedet in http://www.dansk.nu/ with animations of all Danish speech sounds, exercises in dialogues and a teaching tool to produce your own pronunciation exercises.

Vores Fællessprog

Objective

The project sought to digitalise the comparative grammar series ’Vores Fællessprog’ (Our Common Language), by presenting Danish grammar in, and in comparison with 10 languages: Turkish, Arab, Serbo-Croatian, Somali, English, French, Persian, Swahili, Vietnamese and Spanish.

Vejen Frem

Objective

Vejen frem (The Road Forward) focused on the success stories of a group of migrants and refugees who came to Denmark as adults – aiming to inspire other migrants and refugees.

Language Mentor

Objective

The objective of the project was to contribute to the use of language mentors as a help in integration and retention of migrants in the labor market.

Paving the way to jobs (PAV)

Objective

The project sought to develop the concept of e-learning (distance education) in teaching Danish as a second language. The training combined classroom lessons with lessons at the workplace and/or at a community centre.

MobiDic – The Mobile Dictionary

Objective

The aim of this project was to develop free mini dictionaries to workers, who speak Polish, German or English.

Language Screening for Vocational Schools

Objective

The project developed a tool that aims to test the proficiency in the Danish language of bilingual students enrolled in vocational schools.

Objective

The aim of the project was to strengthen the teaching of Danish as a second language by developing a web-based learning universe (dsa-com - Danish as a second language community).

Det Mobile Sproglab

Objective

Det Mobile Sproglab (The Mobile Language Laboratory) aimed to offer adult bilinguals new opportunities to use Danish in ordinary daily conversations and at the workplace. Daily life conversations could be at their children’s schools or day care centres, at association meetings, with neighbours, as well as at the workplace – at the cafeteria, with the employer, with customers, etc.

Danish Daily Life on Video

Objective

The project aimed to create and disseminate a tool that will facilitate a basic understanding of what it means to be Danish, among ethnic minorities who have limited contact to Danes and the Danish daily life.

Objective
MESI (Migrant Entrepreneurship for Social Inclusion) aims to provide adult educators, trainers, and other professionals with the skills and tools to engage and support refugees and immigrants in becoming entrepreneurs.

Objective

The project EMBRACE (Enhancement of Migrants aBilities and Recognition of their Acquired Competences, in Europe) will develop and test a transnational method for identification, documentation, and validation of skills and competences acquired by immigrants in their original countries – particularly within the food and agribusiness.
