Det Mobile Sproglab
Objective
Det Mobile Sproglab (The Mobile Language Laboratory) aimed to offer adult bilinguals new opportunities to use Danish in ordinary daily conversations and at the workplace. Daily life conversations could be at their children’s schools or day care centres, at association meetings, with neighbours, as well as at the workplace – at the cafeteria, with the employer, with customers, etc.

The project aimed to create and disseminate a tool that will facilitate a basic understanding of what it means to be Danish, among ethnic minorities who have limited contact to Danes and the Danish daily life.

The aim of the project was to upgrade the skills of teachers to use technology in teaching, to test digital materials and tools on different target groups and to collect and disseminate experiences.

The project sought to build solid partnerships between the regional network of corporations and Region South Denmark in relation to the continuing education offered by the region. Specifically, the project aimed to develop innovative and growth-enhancing training for staff of small and medium enterprises (SME).
