Nordic Digital Inclusive Entrepreneurship Programme
Objective
The project ‘Nordic Digital Inclusive Entrepreneurship Program’ will train asylum seekers, refugees and migrants in entrepreneurship skills in order to strengthen their confidence in their own resources and find ways in which they can be used actively in society.
The project will develop an action-oriented training course with interactive methods, and prepare teachers for the training. The project focuses on competencies that participants can use across national borders. At the same time, the project seeks to provide participants with an insight into the Scandinavian work culture, so that those who stay there are prepared for possible cultural differences.
Activities
The project includes the following activities:
- Development of an action-oriented online teaching material, which is based on important stages in entrepreneurship such as personal resources, skills and interests, idea development, networking, presentation of idea and outline of business model, as well as introducing to the Scandinavian labour market
- Development of a platform on which the teaching material can be accessed
- Training of teachers who work with asylum seekers, refugees and migrants so that they can carry out the training course
- Testing the teaching material with the target group
- Evaluation of the teaching material with participants and teachers
- Dissemination of the project and teaching material
Partnership
The project is implemented in cooperation between:
- Folkuniversitetet Karlskrona, Sweden (coordinator)
- Oslo International Hub, Norway
- VIFIN, Denmark
VIFIN's local partner in the project is the Red Cross Asylum Center in Jelling, where the course will be tested.
