No Alternative Facts
Objective
The objective of No Alternative Facts is to provide young people aged 15-25 with the critical skills needed to distinguish between propaganda and information sources that can be trusted on the internet.
The project is based on interactive learning methods that help young people question what "fake news" is and take responsibility for the information they share with each other.
Activities
The project is especially aimed at teachers of young people. They get concrete tools to focus on fake news, critical thinking and digital education together with the young people.
The project consists of the following activities:
- Conduct an analysis of how young people experience fake news
- Develop a toolbox with inclusive methodological approaches for teachers
- Develop a "train the trainers" format for teachers
- Develop an online gaming environment that young people can further build on together
