Challenges of the Region: Depopulation Control, Development – best practices (DeCoDe)

Objective
The objective of the project is to exchange strategies and good practices about depopulation issues and to discuss how rural areas can be made attractive.

Activities
Five transnational meetings are held, where the partners exchange experiences in working with their local challenges. The meetings consist of study tours, presentations and perspectives from local experts, and workshops. Each meeting has a theme: 

The partner countries' experiences and good practices are collected in a small publication, which will be launched online with the aim of creating inspiration and passing on good development ideas across Europe.

The project is implemented in cooperation between different organizations, municipalities and regions from Southern, Northern and Eastern Europe:

Financing
The project is supported by the EU program Europe for Citizens and runs from April 2018 to November 2019.
