Educational Technology in Motion

Objective

The aim of the project was to upgrade the skills of teachers to use technology in teaching, to test digital materials and tools on different target groups and to collect and disseminate experiences.

Activities

Three groups consisting of teachers from CSV Vejle and Ungdomsskolen in Vejle worked with, respectively, IT materials for teaching Danish at basic level, video instructions for performing tasks in a wood workshop, and mobile tools for brain damaged people with orientation problems.

The focus of each group was based on the needs of their different target groups.

The project ended with an open meeting for teachers, where the groups presented their experience from the project.

The project was implemented in cooperation between:

• Center for Special Education for Adults in Vejle (CSV)
• Vejle Ungdomsskole
• VIFIN

Funding

The project was funded by the Municipality of Vejle and was conducted in 2011-2012.
