Open School

Objective

Open School was a project that took place at Vinding Skole in the school year 2015/16.

 

The objective was:

• To strengthen the ‘open school’ effort and increase awareness of this effort - both among teachers and among pupils The goal was to achieve an "open school culture" where open school becomes a natural part of school life.
• To explore and expand opportunities with open school

 

Activities

 

The project included two types of activities:

• A continuation and further development of the school's existing Open School projects. This involves collaboration with other institutions, companies, etc., visits to cultural institutions, participation in various joint school projects, inviting guests to the school, digital meetings, etc.
• Documentation of the school's Open School activities via the startup of a TV channel. For production of features etc., there was an optional course on television production. The TV channel was open and placed on the school's website so that this in itself also contributes to the opening of the school in relation to the surrounding community. VIFIN and Jyske Bank contributed to the development of the TV channel.

 

Partnership
Vinding Skole, Jyske Bank and VIFIN collaborated in implementing the project.

 

Funding
The project was funded by Vejle Municipality.
