Promoting ICT Learning Processes in Europe (PILPE)

Objective

PILPE aimed to promote awareness and the use of computers and information technology (IT) in the learning process of the youth and adult learners. Specifically, the project wanted to identify the factors that hinder them from using ICT and why some develop negative attitude towards the technology.

Activities

Based on the project’s experiences, recommendations on developing “learner-friendly” methodologies on use of ICT were forwarded institutions and organisations involved in adult learning.

At the end of the project, a seminar was held among adult educators, learners, and institutions involved in adult education to present the project’s findings and recommendation.
