Labour Market Inclusion through E-Learning for Vulnerable Groups (LMIEL)
The project aims to promote e-learning tools for the labour market inclusion of refugees or asylum seekers in Slovakia and other vulnerable groups through the following:
- Job-oriented language combined with training for tutors on e-learning working with migrants,
- Learning modules for jobseekers advisors and social workers;
- Ethnic entrepreneurs – e-learning helping the target group to start their own companies, and
- Adult Directions Multimedia -career e-learning tool for Career Diagnostic, IAG & ‘Jobsearch Training’ programmes.
The vulnerable groups will receive work-/business-oriented education, while professional workers will be trained on providing advice for income-generating initiatives (business or employment).
The project results will be mainstreamed among organizations in Slovakia (NGOs, IOM, UNHCR) and to neighbour countries, and at conferences. This project brings together partners from old and new EU countries for the joint development of modular training materials that will support the labour market policy, and the EU goal of “making a European Area of Lifelong Learning a Reality”.
