Better Jobs for 50+

Due to the demographic changes all over Europe, the elder generation becomes larger while the young generation gets younger. The need for maintaining seniors (50+) for a longer period at the labour market is a real need. The project therefore endeavours to identify best practice among partner countries, especially in areas of policy formulation, and disseminate this among the partnership in particular, and to relevant organisation in Europe, in general. The project gives particular focus on training to improve the skills and competences of seniors at work, increasing their value in the labour market to give them better chances of staying longer at the labour market. Netværkslokomotiv, a network of companies located in Vejle and surrounding areas, is VIFIN’s local partner in this project.

Better Job for 50+ is financed by EU’s Leonardo da Vinci Partnership Programme, from 2009-2011.
