The e-learning portal, www.dansk.nu, is composed of a virtual materials bank and a virtual learning environment.

TheVirtual Materials Bank
The Materials Bank contains materials that have been developed by the teachers of the project's partner institutions. At present, the Bank offers materials for fast beginners of students of Danish, among others: preparing students for further education after completing their basic Danish language course; introducing language students to various professions, society and education; the virtual language laboratory, different games, etc.

It is recommended that the activities at www.dansk.nu be used as supplement to the traditional classroom environment (blended learning). Some of the materials are ideal for distance education (e-learning).

The Virtual Learning Environment
A student who is logged in to www.dansk.nu can access the Materials Bank, where he/she can write and save his/her own documents and learning plan. The student can also communicate with his/her teacher and other users through emails, internal messages, chats and fora.

Access to www.dansk.nu
The materials and the learning environment may be used free of charge. The learning materials may be accessed by logging on to www.dansk.nu with the username: “kursist1” and the password: “123456”. The site’s front page provides direct access to some demo materials, and enables a user to start an account with his/her own password. All these facilities may be used free of charge.
